The CETP Exam questions are developed according to the requirements set out in the Blueprints for the CETP Exam for each profession, set by the National Alliance of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Regulators (formerly CAASPR).
SAC’s Code of Ethics and the Code of Ethics from regulatory bodies are useful tools to understand the fundamental principles, values, and standards essential to the responsible practice of speech-language pathology and audiology. The underlying values of the Code of Ethics form the rationale for ethical standards and provide the basis for ethical practice and decision-making.
The 2021 Curriculum Standards for Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology includes information that may be useful as an exam preparation tool, as it serves as a curriculum guide for Canadian education programs in speech-language pathology and audiology.

CETP Exams Practice Questions in audiology and speech-language pathology
The focus of the CETP exam practice questions is to help exam candidates understand the purpose and intent of a question within a competency-based multiple-choice exam. More specifically, the plan is to guide the exam candidate towards the correct answer; to see what the questions look like on an exam; and how to work through the rationale for the correct answer.
